**Resource pages**
One of FMO’s objectives is to make it easier to find relevant information
online. In order to accomplish this goal, FMO regularly compiles "resource
pages" on a wide variety of topics within the forced migration field. Both
regional/geographic and thematic resource pages have been prepared; these are
available via the home page (http://www.forcedmigration.org) or by going to
http://www.forcedmigration.org/browse/regional/ and
http://www.forcedmigration.org/browse/thematic/, respectively.
Resource page themes are selected to: (1) commemorate "international days"
(for example, a resource page will be compiled for the upcoming International
Women’s Day on 8 March); (2) complement Forced Migration Review issues (a
resource page on "livelihoods" is slated for April in tandem with FMR no. 20);
or (3) expand further on an issue/area featured in an FMO research guide
(available at http://www.forcedmigration.org/guides/).
**Guide to Forced Migration Resources on the Web**
This guide provides a more comprehensive survey of the kinds of information
resources available on the web that might be used in the forced migration
research process; these include glossaries, country profiles, research
collections, directories, indexes, bibliographies, library catalogues,
discussion lists, news sources, journals, yearbooks, international
instruments, policies, operational materials, evaluation reports, statistics,
multimedia resources, web subject guides, and search engines. Resources
within FMO itself are also highlighted, such as resource pages, research
guides, full-text documents in the digital library, and pre-programmed
searches in the web catalogue.
We hope you find these and other FMO resources useful.
