Perhaps Luis Bunuel and Jean-Claude Carriere had Hosea
in mind, in The Milky Way (La voie lactee): in the
beginning of the film, two tramps on a pilgrimage to
Santiago de Compostela come across a stranger on the
road who commands them to "go and beget children from
prostitution, and name one 'You Are No Longer My
People,' and the other 'No More Mercy'"...
