Hi Steve,
The meeting to coincide with the Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibition and/or
a one day seminar on drawing at Tate Britain in October sounds great.
I imagine a lot of people would be able to attend this one.
Thanks
Brian

>Thanks to all those who replied to my recent email regarding a possible
meeting of the DRN on Friday 16 July at the University of the West of
England (UWE). About 20% of respondents would be willing and able to
attend such a meeting. There was a
>lot more support for a meeting later in the year.
>
>I propose that I pass this information on to the organisers of the Drawing
Quarters symposium and I hope that a modest representation of DRN
members will still want to attend on the plenary session on 16 July (for
which a charge of £15 will be made
>by UWE). However, I think numbers will be too small to hold a
significant DRN meeting on this date.

>Anita Taylor (Wimbledon School of Art) has offered to host a DRN
meeting at the Tate Britain, London, in October 2004 (date to be
confirmed). This will coincide with the Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibition
and/or a one day seminar on drawing that
>Wimbledon will be holding at Tate Britain in October.
>I'll keep this list informed of details of both events as I know more.
