HI Steve
The conference idea is a really great one, however I know I am going to be
caught up in the end of year assessments in college. The idea of
something in September/October would be great
Thanks
Brian

>Dear all Drawing Research Network members.
>It has been proposed that a meeting of DRN members be convened to
coincide with the final day of the 'Drawing Quarters' conference, Friday 16
July 2004 at the Bower Ashton campus of the University of the West of
England, Bristol. I write to find
>out whether there is any interest in this idea.
>
>The DRN last met in 2002 so a meeting of members old and new is well
overdue. Since the timing of the proposed meeting would also allow DRN
members to attend the plenary session of the Drawing Quarters
conference it has been proposed that a charge
>of £15 be made to all attendees. There are no further details as yet. The
DRN meeting would have its own agenda which, in the past, has included
presentations of current work, news and discussion.
>
>Could you let this list know if you'd find a DRN meeting in Bristol on
16.7.04 useful and I'll coordinate with the people at UWE.
>
>If you'd like to find out more about the Drawing Quarters conference go to
the News & Events page of the DRN website www.drawing.org.uk

>Thanks
