I'd be happy to help - have researched and published on children's early
mark-making and analysed 700 pieces to trace children's development (3 - 8)
in children's mathematical mark-making. Interesting crossovers between
children's early drawing, writing and 'mathematics', arising from gestures
and their earliest marks on paper (scribbles). I think it's high time we
stopped separating these multi-literacies and learnt from the commections
between them.
