1st SymNet Summer School
St Andrews, Scotland
28th June -- 2nd July 2004
SymNet is new EPSRC-funded interdisciplinary research network in the UK
on the topic of Symmetry and Search.
The 1st Summer School involves leading researchers delivering
lectures & tutorials on
Group theory
Computational Algebra
Planning
Constraints
SAT
Formal methods
Complexity
The programme is still being constructed, but confirmed speakers are Igor
Markov
(University of Michigan) and Brendan McKay (Australian National University.)
We intend that there will be no registration fee, and we hope to be able
to provide financial support for those attending from the UK. However,
there is a limit to the number of supported places.
