Id be happy to contribute if I can make it, and if it would be
interesting- my area is maternity care and complexity - the impact of
complexity and salutogenic thinking on ways of seeing labour and birth,
and the potential connection of this to community capital.
all the best

Dear Soo,
No rush as yet - it's just that if it gets a bit full we may have to
restrict numbers.
Would you want to contribute at all?
Regards
Jim

May
I would very much like to attend this meeting, but this depends on a
possible prior commitment which I wont be able to confirm for some
time. How
late can you take bookings?

Dear All on Complexity and Primary Care list,
I am coordinating a meeting of people interested in Complexity and
Education
- especially that related to health professionals. The venue will be
University of Warwick Offices, Tufton Street, London, and the date is
Thursday 20th May 2004.
It will be a workshop-style meeting for the discussion and development
of
ideas and research. We have two (confirmed) invited speakers who have
contributed to thinking in this area : Stephen Sterling, author of the
Schumacher Briefing 'Sustainable Education' who will speak on the
latter,
and Paul Tosey from Surrey University, who has written papers on
Complexity
and Teaching, and NLP, for the Learning and Teaching Support Network.
Paul
will be leading a discussion around 'Transformative Learning'.
If you would like to contribute to the meeting or are just interested
in
attending, please let me know and I will be pleased to discuss it with
you.
Regards
Jim
