Thanks for drawing my attention to this:
(a) it is a thorough and as far as I can see fair and balanced review of the numerical techniques on offer
(b) it is easier for me to understand than all that transactional power dynamic stuff in the social networks thread
(c) it's just saved me a week's work digging out & reading references for something I'm writing - I can replace them all with one
