I am sorry you encountered this difficulty. The problem is that if you
follow the download link for the evaliation version, what you get is the
original 8.0 release from December. We have fixed many problems since
then, including this one. You can get a more recent compiler by
following the instructions in the e-mail you received to register the
evaluation serial number with Intel Premier Support. This enables you
to download a more recent version.
Please note that you have full access to Intel Premier Support for the
duration of your evaluation period.
Starting with the 8.1 release, we will be updating the initial
evaluation version more often, and we also have plans to streamline the
evaluation process.
