Hi,
I recall from the comp-fortran-90 list some comments that Intel Linux
compilers (well, Fortran at least) are free for academic use.
However, the best deal I can find on Intel's site is
http://www.intel.com/software/products/global/academic.htm which
lists academic prices (much less than commercial ones, but still with
a cost). Have Intel changed their policy, or am I missing something?
Was the free-to-academia policy UK-only and, if so, does anyone have
a contact so I can follow this up? I've also spoken to Nag, who
distribute the compilers in the UK (there may well be other
distributers as well, of course) who quoted prices pretty much in
line with the price on the Intel web site, give or take the odd
currency fluctuatuions.
Thanks
