INGE BLACKMAN for LUX: PROBLEMATISING RACE
Hollywood and mainstream films have always been problematic in how they
represent both white people and people of colour. Do white filmmakers make
assumptions about identity? Are filmmakers of colour forced to carry the
burden of representing the marginal whether they like it or not?
Submissions are invited from people making non-narrative film/video which
problematises race.

THE SOCIAL UNIVERSE, I MISS YOU
"An open screening where the films we watch are the films we have made. We
would like to make films about things that people do to make life liveable.
It could be making dinner for friends or family, designing an outfit,
organising a demonstration or community meeting, but please contact us, and
show us." (Emma Hedditch and Holly Rose Wood)
