Framing Media Transformations: interpretations of creative expression in
the new media
A two-day seminar to be held at the National Museum of Photography Film
& Television, Bradford, West Yorkshire, 9th and 10th December, 2004.
This event is part of the TRIP Project Seminar Series and is part funded
by the Economic and Social Research Council.
The event will consist of academic papers combined with discussion and
workshop activities. There will also be film screenings in the main
cinema of the Museum and social activities are being planned for the
evening of the first day.
The seminar will explore themes relating to creative media output (film,
graphical production, performance, music etc.) in the context of
current and ongoing technological and social transformations. We will
discuss the impact of these transformations on the creative process in
general by focusing on specific forms of output.
Papers will be presented by international researchers in the field of
creativity, design, cinema and other forms media output. For details
