CUMBRIA INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS
RESEARCH ASSISTANT – E-LEARNING AND ONLINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGY
£18,000 pro-rata (six-month contract)
We wish to appoint a researcher to contribute to the programme of e-learning and
online learning technology work undertaken by Cumbria Institute of the Arts.
Research will include the development and implementation of an Institute-wide
e-learning and online learning strategy recognising the impact of regional and
national ICT initiatives. The researcher will also be expected to contribute
to the development of Cumbria Institute’s expertise in this area by undertaking
research into the establishment of a national/international resource base at
the Institute for e-learning research and development within the creative arts
sector.
The post is full-time and is expected to commence September 2004 for a six-month
period to February 2005. Subject to funding and outcomes of the preliminary
research there may be an opportunity to extend the contract for a further
period.
