Dear computer graphics researchers and students,
Poster sessions are an integral part of many scientific
conferences, but haven't been held at SIGGRAPH... until now!
Posters are a great way for researchers to display their work
all week long, and discuss it with interested attendees during
scheduled sessions. This new venue is ideal for work that is
too preliminary or small in scale for the Papers or Sketches
programs.
Submissions must be in the form of a one-page extended abstract
describing the research. The firm deadline for submissions is:
Wednesday, 19 May 2004, 5pm Pacific Time.
Authors of accepted posters will receive "Exhibits Plus"
registration to the conference, and the accepted abstracts will
be included in the electronic version of the SIGGRAPH 2004
Conference Abstracts and Applications. For details, see
http://www.siggraph.org/s2004/cfp/posters
Students and faculty: We particularly invite submissions of
research projects by undergraduate and graduate students.
Outstanding final class projects that build on existing
ideas to get new results could make for fine posters.
The Posters program is new to SIGGRAPH -- let's get it off
to a great start!
