Grammatically, I suppose, it should be "yours." But I personally like
"your." To me, it's as if the voice is cut off at the "your." In trying to
write plays, I'd probably put "your--" or even "your..."
Mother and Father leave something, then they would say: "one day it will be
yours." The possessive, the ownership. But to say, "one day it will be
your" - the reader might question 'your -- what?' Which actually questions
'ownership.' I suppose it depends on where you want to place the reader in
relation to the poem -- in relation to the original--?
To me, "mistakes" make - help to make - poetry. Nothing is a mistake in art,
writing...
