British Isles or on aspects
of book-trade relations with any part of the former colonies and
dominions.
Please submit an abstract (between 300 and 400 words) of the proposed

the Conference Committee and decisions will be notified by the end of
February.
An annual Conference Fellowship is available for a postgraduate student
whose research falls
within the parameters of the conference and who wishes to present a

the cost of attending the conference and some assistance towards costs
of travel within the UK.
An outline of the research being undertaken, accompanied by a letter of
recommendation from a
tutor or supervisor, should be submitted (as above) by 30 January 2005.
The conference will be held at Wast Hills House, a very comfortable
residential country-house
conference centre run by the University of Birmingham and situated eight
miles south of the city
centre with good road and rail links and excellent views over the
Worcestershire countryside.
The papers presented will be published in July 2006 as a volume in the
Print Networks series -
edited by Dr John Hinks and Dr Catherine Armstrong - published by the
British Library and in the
USA by Oak Knoll Press. Papers offered to the conference must be
original work and may not be
delivered elsewhere before presentation at this conference. Our
publishers require that papers
shall not be published elsewhere within one year of their inclusion in
Print Networks.
