Vision, Video, and Graphics: BMVA one-day meeting
www.bmva.ac.uk/meetings
One Day BMVA symposium in London, UK. July 2004 (exact date to be
announced).
Chairs: Dr. Peter Hall (Univ. Bath) and Prof. Andrew Bangham (Univ. East
Anglia)
The convergence of vision, video, and graphics is emerging as an
increasingly important and challenging area that not only makes possible
new applications but raises interesting basic questions. The aim of this
one-day meeting is to promote the area by bringing researchers from the
different areas into a single room, to share problems and solutions.
You are invited to submit a contribution (2 pages A4 maximum) directly to
the organisers. Contributions may address a specific problem, such as such
as inserting graphical models into real imagery; a contribution may
describe a system for video editing, say; or the contribution could be an
underlying method, related to camera calibration perhaps. The only criteria
we apply is that the contribution should be useful to at least two of the
three areas in the title. All selected papers and accompanying material,
such as pictures and animations, will be made available to participants of
the meeting via the BMVA website.
Please submit contributions by email attachment (1Mb max please!) to Peter
Hall ([log in to unmask]) by March 22, 2004.
