Hi there, I think you can do it using the Math ML editor? (Click the 'insert
equation' symbol in the text editor box) In online tests, you can use this
both in formulating the questions and as a student submitting responses to
essay type qus. It allows you to enter normal text as well as mathematical
symbols, then add sub or superscript text if desired. It's a java applet so
needs java to be installed on user's PC.
