Race For Opportunity
BUSINESS in the COMMUNITY
Make the case for Race
Race for Opportunity - National Campaign Director c.£60,000 - London
Can you handle Race? It isn't an issue to be skirted around or just a matter
of being politically correct. It's the dynamic drive behind our campaign
Race for Opportunity.
This is an initiative that today enjoys the support of over 180 major
private and public organisations. We work with household names and global
brands to help our members understand and reap the benefits of an inclusive
approach to the customers and workforces of the future.
People from ethnic minority communities contribute over £36 billion annually
to UK GDP and this is anticipated to grow. Our campaign is led by today's
business leaders who together with your inspiration are looking to deliver
on their diversity strategy.
As our National Director, you'll inspire companies to make the business case
and discover the sound commercial reasons to engage black and other ethnic
minority people as service users, customers and employees. You will deliver
specialist support and advice across different areas of business to key
organisations in our network, and your experience and commercial acumen will
shape our future direction and strategy going forward.
You will have a gift for high-level influencing and the ability to
articulate the impact of race and diversity in the context of opportunities
for modern business. A superb communicator, you will also have the flair and
personality to develop convincing arguments. You will take a pragmatic
approach to challenging and engaging UK business, whilst recognising the
sensitivities around some of the issues.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with senior business
leaders to change the future of UK business, and gives you the chance to
showcase your dynamic approach to problem-solving and influencing people. To
find out more, please download an information pack from our consultants'
website at www.veredus.co.uk or ring the 24-hour response line on 020 7932
4327 quoting reference 6279.
