HWJ Administrative Editor
History Workshop Journal is looking for a new part-time
administrator. The job involves an average of 2.5 hours' work a
week. The annual salary is £2,262 (paid monthly).
The post-holder will:
co-ordinatethe circulation of submitted articles and collate
editors' comments
liaisewith authors, members of the editorial collective, our
publishers (Oxford University Press), our accountants, and
the Charity Commission
monitorjournal finances and prepare yearly accounts
organiseand and attend meetings of the editorial collective
(roughly every six weeks)
We are looking for someone who:
has administrative experience
can work independently
has good IT skills
has experience of basic accounting
can attend evening and occasional weekend meetings, usually in
London
has good oral and written communication skills
has an interest in history
