BBC Family History Weekend: Who do you think you are?
Discovering your Black Roots

As part of the BBC’s Who do you think you are? series, Northamptonshire
Black History Project brings you this free event to help you to find out how
you can begin researching your family history.
Patrick Vernon, founder of the campaign and website for 100 Great Black
Britons, will explore the opportunities for researching and discovering more
about your family history. He will also show you how you can use postcard
images as a potential source of family history for different communities.
Nicola Taylor and Julia Drake of Northamptonshire Black History Project will
also share with you some of Northamptonshire’s historic and more recent
family histories.
