THE 'ASSOCIATION OF ARTISTS FOR A BETTER WORLD'
Is looking for original songs for a compilaton CD - 'Peace Songs for a Better World'

10 Selected Artists will receive WORLD-WIDE EXPOSURE, DISTRIBUTION, PUBLICITY, PROMOTION, and RECOGNITION.

WHO WE ARE: The ‘Association of Artists for a Better World’, is a non-profit organization devoted to improving our planet through informed artistic expression. We put artists in touch with issues, and create a platform to send their words and music out to the planet.

WHAT WE OFFER: TEN selected artists will be featured on the CD, publication date fall of 2004, given full liner credits including contact and Website information. 'Peace Songs for a Better World' will be distributed for airplay to over 200 Radio Stations in our 'global radio pipeline' located throughout North America, Europe, and Australia, including Internet Stations. In addition, Review Copies will be sent to selected Music Publications and Music Journalists for review columns.

Winning artists will be listed on our Website, Press Releases, and all related CD Publicity and Promotion as applicable, will be supplied with 10 CDs for their own sale and promotion. E-Distribution and International Sales will be through Indiepool, and catalogued in their international album database. Funds raised from CD sales are donated to ‘New Songs For Peace’, which is a charity endorsed by UNESCO.

Artists are eligible to receive ROYALTIES for airplay. (if their songs are registered with SOCAN or appropriate agency in your area.) Although there are no guarantees, it IS REASONABLE to expect the CD to get Airplay around the world, and reviewed in music publications and Ezines. It is also reasonable to expect you will get requests for your CDs from interested DJ’s, Music Directors, and Music Journalists who like your tune. It is customary for DJs / stations to send Playlists directly to artists. (See **About the Producer Below**)

WHAT TYPE OF SONGS DO WE WANT: Songs are accepted from all musical genres based on themes of ‘peace’ – can be any connotation of peace, such as inner peace or world peace, or tell us what ‘peace’ means to you. Peace is a universal theme, as such we invite all types of music, in any language, any culture, and any style will be considered.
