Graduate Trainees - 1 Library and 1 Archive post
1 year fixed term 2004-2005 £13,000
Closing date: 23rd August 2004
The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce was founded in 1754. We exist to encourage the development of a principled and prosperous society. With the support of over 22,000 Fellows, we deliver our manifesto through a programme of sponsored projects, award schemes, lectures, seminars and events. These cover areas such as art, design, education, environment, ethics, commerce, science and technology.
The two trainee scheme posts are for graduates wanting experience in information work prior to studying archive or library courses at post-graduate level. You will have a degree in any subject, sound communication skills and be comfortable using IT. Most importantly you should want to be a part of a developing pro-active service with a user-friendly focus.
