(Medieval History)

Applications are invited for this twelve-month post in association with the
AHRB-funded project 'Medieval Petitions: A Catalogue of the Ancient
Petitions in the Public Record Office'. You will be a graduate, probably in
History, and possess a relevant postgraduate qualification, either a diploma
in archive administration or a further degree, while experience of working
with relevant records will be advantageous. You will need to have basic
literacy in computing and information systems, though full training will be
provided. You will also need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, the
ability to work independently, and the capacity to meet strict deadlines.

Salary in the range £19,460 - £22,507 p.a. and the post is available from 1
October 2004.
