Records Management Officer
Scale PO2-3 (£27,873-£32,991)
Stirling Council is keen to develop a knowledge management culture within
the organisation. The first step towards this goal is work currently being
undertaken to prepare for Freedom of Information. The Records Management
Officer will be part of a small team charged with driving this change.
The Records Management Officer will be responsible for developing and
designing records management systems, promoting good practice across the
organisation and working with the Business Design Team on the introduction
of an EDRMS. S/he will work closely with the Archivist and Information
Compliance Officer as the Council develops and implements plans to meet the
Freedom of Information Act.
You should have a recognised qualification in Records Management/Archives
Administration, experience of implementing records management systems, good
analytical skills and high level interpersonal skills. Experience of
working within Local Government would be an advantage.
