TRENTON -- Gov. James E. McGreevey said Thursday his legal bills are
public information, yet subordinates continued to stonewall on how much
taxpayer money is owed to the $420-hour criminal defense wunderkind
representing him.
"I refer that question to my press office," McGreevey said during a rare public
bill signing. "It's public information."
