Hi All
From items on our local news last week (I'm in Southampton)
I gather that a group in Poole raised some £150,000 to buy
as many items at possible at the auction. I believe that
they did obtain many of the items that they hoped to
acquire and that there are moves to display the pottery in
Poole.
Although talking about the Poole Pottery archive, however,
the emphasis was on pieces of pottery. I heard no mention
about documents relating to the pottery, but perhaps
someone else knows about this.
