Salary: £21,125 - £26,270 pa, plus £1,814 pa London Allowance
Brunel University is looking to recruit a qualified records manager to ensure that the University's records are managed appropriately and in accordance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation and other statutory obligations.
As the Assistant Records Manager you will work with the Records Manager to manage the University's records in accordance with the University's Records Management Policy and related Retention Schedules. You will have specific responsibility for ensuring the University complies with Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation, including developing policies and procedures, advising and training staff and dealing with requests for information.
You should possess a postgraduate qualification in Archives and Records Management or equivalent with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in relevant post(s) and have a good knowledge of Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation.
You should have strong communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills, excellent IT skills and an ability to work on both your own initiative and as a member of a team.
