I am investigating different options for legal structures and related
agreements defining the operation of a joint archives service between 2 or
more public sector organisations.
I would be very interested in either copies of legal agreements/contracts
made to establish and define such a joint service, or general information
about the nature of the agreement (including management structure,
governance, etc, financial arrangements, employment of staff, ownership of
current archive holdings and future accessions).
It would also be useful to hear from anyone in the process of creating a
joint service - or who has tried to do so and failed to gain agreement.
