ASSISTANT ARCHIVIST, INVERNESS £17,340 - £21,732 p.a.
You will play a key role in developing and implementing the Council’s
Archive Strategy across the Highlands. This will involve working towards
the improvement of archive accommodation and services for the Year of
Highland Culture 2007.
Apart from the normal archival duties of a busy local authority record
office, you will be expected to take an active hands-on role in managing
the Council’s modern records as part of the Highland Council’s commitment
to Freedom of Information.
You should be good communicator, adaptable, with the ability to work alone
and as part of a team in varied working conditions. Experience of
databases and information technology, especially of CALM software would be
an advantage. You will possess an honours degree and a post graduate
qualification in Archive Administration.
