The Centre has a requirement for a person who is skilled at data handling in
MS Access and MS Excel and who can design and maintain complex database
structures. We are currently undergoing a modernisation of our data
handling for the Benchmarking project and therefore require specific skills
in this area.
The role will also necessitate the successful candidate to be able to create
MS Access reports (or similar) from the database.
The Benchmarking project works with data provided by NHS Trusts (Pathology
and Radiology departments) and therefore accuracy and attention to detail
are also essential requirements.
The postholder would be expected to hold a degree and already have the
skills outlined above. In addition excellent numeracy and communication
skills are required.
