SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, HEALTH POLICY AND PRACTICE
We are pleased to offer these new posts within the Population Health Group
which is located within the School of Medicine, Health Policy and Practice
at UEA. They will compliment the recent establishment of a Chair in Diet and
Health within the School of Medicine, Health Policy and Practice and also
drive forward a collaborative research programme within the School and with
other partners at UEA and the BBSRC-funded Institute of Food Research. UEA
has an architecturally distinguished campus and a £80m building programme
including new teaching and research facilities. This provides an attractive
and academically stimulating environment for building research programmes of
international standing. The following new posts are offered for a fixed term
period of up to 5 years initially.
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN BIOSTATISTICS (Ref: RA65)
You will possess:
● a PhD degree in medical/biostatistics, epidemiology.
Research expertise in observational nutritional epidemiology or experimental
studies would be advantageous.
Salary for the above post will be in the range £27,116 to £35,883 per annum
(scales effective from 1/8/04).
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN RESEARCH SYNTHESIS (Ref: RA67)
You will possess:
● a PhD in one of a range of quantitative sciences, including
epidemiology, statistics, psychology or biological sciences.
Experience of systematic reviewing/research synthesis would be advantageous.
A knowledge of or experience of nutrition would also be an advantage.
Salary for the above post will be in the range £19,460 to £29,128 per annum
(scales effective from 1/8/04).
