I have a data set from a 2-treatment 2-period crossover study, with n1 and
n2 numbers of organisms per group, where the effect of treatment on numbers
of egg produced per organism is being investigated. As well as looking at
differences in mean number per group, I would also like to investigate the
effect of treatment on variability of egg number within each group.
Is there anyway to utilise the crossover aspect of this study to get a more
powerful test of difference in variances, or am I stuck with doing a single
variance test for each time period?
Thanks in advance
