2004 CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT & CALL FOR PAPERS
The 18th annual meeting of ASSESS, the SPSS Users' Group, will take place on
Friday, 12th November 2004 at the Royal Statistical Society, London, U.K.
The committee welcomes contributions on SPSS-related topics from all
academic and professional fields, particularly describing case studies (e.g.
in marketing, surveys or applied research), multivariate methods, uses of SPSS
syntax and experience of using new SPSS products/procedures.
Normally 30 minutes is allowed (including some time for questions). Speakers do
not pay the Conference fee and may claim expenses.
If you would like to give a paper or run a workshop session (or even if you
think you might but are not yet sure or would like to know more), please
contact the meeting co-organiser, Peter Watson (see below).

The headquarters of the Royal Statistical Society is at 12 Errol Street, London,
EC1Y 8LX, which is within easy walking distance of three London Underground

The meeting is open to all current users of SPSS and to anyone interested
in SPSS.
