Departmant as a Recruitment manager responsible for the internal
recruitment of a busy clinical research organisation. This would suit an HR
advisor looking for a next move or a frustrated recruitment consultant
looking to move into a client facing role.
 Identification of the most cost effective and efficient means of
recruitment using a variety of mediums, as necessary. Eg agencies,
advertising in newspapers, specialist magazines, websites;
 In conjunction with Associate Director, HR and Senior Management,
drive the design and implementation of the strategies for resourcing;
 To provide a central point of reference for Resourcing and
represent the function internally at management level with regard to
recruitment issues;
 Assume ownership for the recruitment process ensuring Line Managers
are aware of best practice, for example through
 Updating the website
 Act as Account Manager and ensure the appropriate and timely
briefing of external agencies, advertisers etc in accordance with set
service level agreements.
 To provide ongoing feedback to the Associate Director, HR and
management regarding ‘attraction’ initiatives in support of the clients
branding to ensure ongoing attraction of candidates into the organisation;
• To ensure recruitment approval for all vacancies is granted;
• To provide the timely and effective delivery of candidates for
vacancies;
 To attract and screen appropriate candidates, conducting face to
face interviews and feeding back to managers on suitability of candidates;
 To be responsible for the administration and critical feedback of
psychometric assessments;
 Monitor and manage customer satisfaction in relation to resourcing;
 Participation in the development and co-ordination of Assessment
Centres;
 Develop and implement methods of best recruitment practice
 Ensure the agreed process for the secondment of staff is followed;
 Ensure all recruitment practices are in accordance with Employment
Legislation;
 Arrange for relevant Work Permits;
