Medical Statistician
The Institute of Cancer Research, one of the world's leading cancer research centres, is looking for a medical statistician to join its Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit (ICR-CTSU) at its Sutton site.
As a member of the ICR-CTSU you will work on the initiation, conduct and analysis of local and national/international randomised clinical trials of cancer treatment including;
· study design
· protocol development
· data handling
· statistical analysis
· trial management
This will involve working closely with clinical colleagues at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust and other collaborators in the UK and overseas.
Applicants should hold a post graduate qualification in statistics or a first degree in statistics and have at least 1-2 years experience in medical statistics. This appointment will be on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 years in the first instance with a salary in the range of £22,329 pa to £31,590 pa.
