LECTURER IN HEALTH/MEDICAL STATISTICS (Ref: AC513)
We are pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity to contribute to
teaching and research in health/medical statistics as part of the innovative
problem based learning medical undergraduate programme (MB/BS) at the School
of Medicine, Health Policy & Practice, which is based at UEA's Norwich
campus and makes extensive use of the leading-edge resources at the new
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (adjacent to UEA's campus).
You will possess:
* a strong academic track record in applied statistics (preferably a
PhD)
* a willingness to embrace and develop innovative, collaborative
curricular developments relating to our new MB/BS programme
* a demonstrated ability to make an appropriate contribution to
research
* first class communication and team-working skills.
The appointment will be made to the University's scales for Non-Clinical
Academic Staff on the Lecturer B salary scale, £26,270 to £33,679 per annum
(under review). As part of its commitment to recruiting and rewarding high
quality staff, UEA has dispensed with the Lecturer A scale.
