> Based in Uxbridge, you will lead, manage and motivate statistics teams
> across two offices (Uxbridge and Cambridge), who are responsible for
> assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring the highest standards of statistical
> practice are maintained at all times. This will involve providing wide
> ranging biostatistical advice, budgeting, recruitment and resource
> allocation, as well as the constant promotion of statistical excellence.
> Collaborating closely with other statistics teams within Amgen, you will
> make a significant contribution to technical and managerial leadership, as
> well as the continuous improvement within our global statistics function.

> A graduate in mathematics, statistics or other directly relevant
> discipline, your minimum of ten years' practical experience in the
> pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO sectors must include statistical
> analysis and clinical trials and will have given you a good understanding
> of all aspects of the drug development process. Experience of project
> planning and people management is a must, while knowledge of working in an
> international environment would be an advantage. Enthusiastic and
