Dear Colleague,
Emerging Themes in Epidemiology has now been launched and I would like
to invite you to submit your next manuscript.
Emerging Themes in Epidemiology is an Open Access, peer-reviewed, online
journal aiming to promote debate and discussion on theoretical and
methodological aspects of epidemiology. The journal encourages authors
to comment critically on current epidemiologic practice and discuss new
concepts and emerging theories in the field.
The journal considers the following types of article: analytic
perspectives, reviews, commentaries, debate articles, hypotheses and
methodology articles. All public health professionals are invited to
submit.
Emerging Themes in Epidemiology believes strongly in providing students
with an opportunity to contribute to current debates in epidemiology not
only through writing, but also through having a direct influence over
what is published. Our Editorial Board is run and managed by research
degree students and overseen by its Associate Editors, comprising an
international group of senior researchers.
The journal is freely available at www.ete-online.com and a number of
articles have already been published. Please see the website for further
information about the journal and its publisher.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Smith
