The Statistical Computing Section of the RSS has got together with the
Statistical Computing Special Interest Group of PSI to arrange a half-day
meeting on adaptive designs. It will run from 14:00 to 17:30 on Wednesday
6 October 2004 at the RSS in Errol Street, London. There will be four
talks:
Gernod Wassmer (University of Cologne) "Use of the ADDPLAN software for
planning and analysing adaptive group-sequential designs"
John Whitehead & Maria Lucini (University of Reading) "Recent additions to
the sequential software PEST: an illustration of its application to
case-control studies"
Chris Jennison (University of Bath) "Adaptivity in sequential designs: old
and new"
David Spiegelhalter (MRC Biostatistics Unit, Cambridge) and Christopher
Weir (University of Glasgow) "Adaptive design using SAS and WinBUGS:
application to an acute stroke clinical trial"
Registration is required for this meeting, costing £10 for RSS or PSI
