£21,594 - £27,833 per annum inclusive
We wish to recruit a statistician to assist with the epidemiological and statistical work of this lively Institute, flagged in the 2001 RAE. Your main work will be on a project investigating the risks of a woman having a pregnancy with a chromosomal anomaly (for example Down Syndrome) given that she has had a previous pregnancy with the same or a different chromosome anomaly. This will involve survival analysis and Bayesian modelling. There will also be opportunities for gaining experience in teaching medical and dental students.
The appointment will be for a fixed term of two years. It is essential that you are a statistics graduate.
