ESRC 1+3 Studentships in the Centre for Census and Survey Research
(CCSR)
http://www.ccsr.ac.uk
Based on its successful past record in obtaining ESRC studentships, the
Centre for Census and Survey Research has been awarded an ESRC
‘1+3’ quota studentship available from September 2004. This award
provides funding for an eligible student to undertake the MSc Social
Research Methods and Statistics degree followed by a PhD.
The Centre will also be considering applications for the ESRC ‘1+3’ open
competition studentships. One successful applicant will be entered by
the Centre into an open competition where the ESRC will make the final
selection.
Interested candidates should apply directly to the Centre who will
undertake the selection of applicants. Candidates are requested to
complete the ‘1+3’ ESRC application form (as opposed to the ‘1+3’ quota
application form) as they will automatically be considered for both
competitions. The applicant allocated the quota award will be invited to
complete the ‘1+3’ quota application form at a later date.
Applications should be submitted by 31 March 2004, to:-
