PhD Studentship - Bayesian statistics and rapid climate change
A PhD studentship is available for a project based at the
Southampton Oceanography Centre jointly with the University of
Sheffield. The project builds on work done at Sheffield on Bayesian
analysis of uncertainties in deterministic computer models, and
applies it to a large ocean-atmosphere climate model. It forms part
of a research effort to identify the probabilities of rapid climate
change.
There is guaranteed grant funding for this PhD studentship.
