Ref SH1: Survey Analyst - Ethnicity and Health Research
A rare chance to work as a research assistant in a dynamic team studying
ethnic differences in health, initially collating and analysing
quantitative data from a range of national and international sources on the
health of ethnic minorities, with opportunities to work on a range of
related projects in the future. You will be encouraged to develop a number
of specialist and transferable skills. You should have a good honours
degree in Statistics/Human Sciences or an area with a high degree of
quantitative training. This is a permanent position and attracts a starting
salary within the range GBP 18,581 - 19,347 p.a.
Ref SH2: MRC Career Development Fellow - Ethnicity and Health Research
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake post doctoral training and
development, widen research and transferable skills and form collaborative
links. You must have either just completed or be about to complete a PhD in
Epidemiology/Medical Statistics. We are looking for experience of working
in an environment with a high quantitative content, preferably analysing
survey data, as you will be working as part of a team examining ethnic
differences in health using data from our recent epidemiological survey of
6,500 adolescents from different ethnic minority groups (Determinants of
Adolescent Social Well-being and Health, DASH). This is a temporary post
for three years with a starting salary range between GBP 24,138 and 25,134.
