Background:
Health Decisions, the innovative, technology-based, international CRO,
is undergoing significant expansion and is looking for seasoned
professionals to co-ordinate and manage our clinical projects in Europe
from its base in Oxford, UK. SAS Programmers and statisticians are an
integral part of our project teams, Health Decisions has used its
proprietary electronic clinical trial management systems to rapidly
collect, query and validate data with the aim of achieving the locked
database within days of the last patient's visit. Our reputation for
delivery of fast and accurate clinical trials is growing, leading to an
increasing number of international projects. We are now expanding the
biometrics group and are looking for another SAS programmer /
statistician to work from our UK office (Oxford) on our European and
international projects. This is an unusual and challenging opportunity
to join the European arm of the company early in its growth phase. We
are seeking experienced, talented individuals who have a passion and
dedication for the delivery of outstanding service to our clients.
Primary Duties:
Experience of protocol development and design, CRF development and
review, writing statistical analysis plans, statistical programming and
analysis. Highly developed skills and experience using SAS 8.2 to
generate summary tables, figures and data listings. Experience of
managing Oracle databases. Experience of analysing results of phase I-IV
clinical trials. Ideally, able to analyse pharmacokinetic studies.
Willing to work in an international setting, involving up to 15% of time
in our US office. Able to work in non-hierarchical, matrix environment
where status is achieved through an ability to influence and persuade
and meet project deliverables within agreed timelines and to the highest
level of quality. Ability to multitask and manage complex studies.
Self-motivated and with a keen ambition to be the best. A strong
commitment to innovation within the clinical trial environment. Highly
developed sense of customer satisfaction and an ability to develop
peer-peer relationships with our clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Medical SAS programmer / statistician with BSc. At least 2 years
experience within a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
