Minimum Requirements: You are likely to have a PhD in data mining or statistical learning, with
experience of programming in c/c++/Perl. Knowledge of LINUX or GRID
computing would be an advantage.
You will have a proven track record of innovative problem solving within a
multi-disciplinary environment together with a demonstrable ability to
deliver cutting edge solutions to real world problems.

You'll be working as part of a team of computational chemists and
mathematicians, working to improve the effectiveness of the drug discovery
process by solving problems with high-volume data sets from chemistry and
screening. Among other things, you will be deriving rules and
relationships from screening data, constructing predictive ADMET models,
and providing data analysis expertise to screening and chemistry groups on
an ad hoc basis. The role will also involve communicating complex
scientific concepts to non-experts.
You are likely to have a PhD in data mining or statistical learning, along
with programming experience in C, C++ and Perl. You will be used to
working in a multi-disciplinary environment, and will thrive on delivering
cutting-edge solutions to real world problems. Knowledge of LINUX or GRID
computing would also be an advantage.
