Aim: This meeting will draw together people with backgrounds in laboratory
science, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health and clinical medicine
among others. The aim of the meeting is to critically address how the new
technologies of genomics, proteomics and metabonomics might be best
incorporated in to population studies. Presentations at the meeting will be
made by individuals with either laboratory or epidemiology expertise but
with an awareness of the multidisciplinary nature of the audience.
Topics: Genomics and Populations; Proteomics and Populations; Metabonomics
