Thank you to all that responded to my previous message. I will contact those people individually.
For anyone else, this is a modified repeat of an advert broadcast in April.
There is now a closing date for applications to be received here at Lowestoft. It is first post on Monday 28 June 2004.
The description has been slightly varied from before, in that the job may be based at Lowestoft (where more of our scientists work) or at Weymouth. That matter to be discussed with the successful candidate.
The new notes also clarify the pay bands within which we may appoint.
Finally, I should clarify that as part of the Civil Service, we are allowed to appoint only EU or Commonwealth citizens. Citizens of other countries may be eligible for UK work permits, but would not be eligible for this post.
The following text is the start of a Word document that I am happy to forward to anyone on request.
