STATISTICIAN
£20,399 to £28,404 (subject to pay review) per annum inclusive
We wish to recruit a Statistician to assist with the epidemiological and
statistical work of this lively Institute, flagged in the 2001 RAE. You
will become involved in the development of a Bayesian conditional
independence modelling approach to the safety of non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) and other medicines.
You will obtain training in the general application of medical statistics,
especially epidemiology. There will also be opportunities for gaining
experience in teaching medical and dental students.
The appointment will be for a fixed term of two years. It is essential you
are a statistics graduate.
