POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN EPIDEMIOLOGY AND/OR BIOSTATISTICS (Dnr
1410/2004)
The Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics has openings for up
to four post docs with interests in multidisciplinary training and research
over a broad range of genetic-, cancer-, reproductive-, psychiatric and
other areas of chronic disease epidemiology as well as biostatistics. We are
looking for young, dedicated scholars, keen to integrate knowledge in
epidemiologic theory, modern biology and biostatistics, and to pursue
cutting edge research. The positions are for 1-4 years.
Presently employing some hundred sixty staff with ten full professors and
over 40 graduate students, the Department is one of the biggest epidemiology
units in Europe. Unique Swedish resources and prerequisites - such as the
Twin Register, several large prospective studies, ongoing nation wide
case-control studies, large nation wide databases including the cancer
register and in-patient discharge register, record linkage capabilities and
access to clinical data as well as biologic material - are effectively
explored at the Department. Further information can be found at
